What is the difference between regular adhesive strips and gel strips?

Classic nail strips are made with regular nail polish, acrylic, vinyl or even paper, while Manithè gel nail strips are made with real gel polish. They last longer and need to be cured with a UV lamp to complete the process.

Do UV gel strips damage natural nails?

No, our Manithè gel strips are formulated to be gentle on natural nails. They are 100% natural, HEMA free and cruelty-free, ensuring not only long-lasting beauty but also respect for your health and the environment.

How to remove the strips after application?

Removing the strips is very easy and safe, you just need to gently lift the strips with the wooden stick provided. Watch our REMOVAL video in the "instructions" section of the menu.

What ingredients are present in Manithè UV GEL STRIPS?

Manithè gel strips contain: Polyacrylic acid, Acrylate copolymer, Glycerin propoxylate triacrylate, Isopropylthioxanthone. Manithè UV GEL STRIPS are HEMA free

Can I also use another UV lamp or just the Manithè UV lamp?

If you already own a UV lamp for conventional UV nail polish, you can also use it for Manithè UV GEL STRIPS, but since these lamps are usually quite bulky and for salon use, we recommend our lightweight Maniko UV lamp in a compact travel size of 15w.

Can Manithè UV GEL STRIPS ruin my nails?

No, Manithè UV GEL STRIPS are much more gentle than a gel manicure done in a nail salon. This is due to the gentle removal without milling, filing or acetone; the only important thing is to take your time with removal and follow the instructions. If your nails are already damaged, you need to take care of them between applications and moisturize them.

Can Manithè UV lamp be harmful?

No, because Manithè UV GEL STRIPS require only a very low level of radiation to polymerize.

Is there a risk that they will come off with water?

No, our strips are waterproof, they are very resistant so they can be safely used even under water.

I have brittle nails, can I apply them?

ABSOLUTELY YES! Unlike classic nail polish and semi-permanent gels, our Manithè UV GEL STRIPS are applied directly to the nail, so they will not stress or damage it in any way, not even during removal.
