No, Manithè UV GEL STRIPS are much more gentle than a gel manicure done in a nail salon. This is due to the gentle removal without milling, filing or acetone; the only important thing is to take your time with removal and follow the instructions. If your nails are already damaged, you need to take care of them between applications and moisturize them.
